Default prime ls1 engine

Should i prime engine if oil pressure is still in the engine, i only did valve lash and replaced intake gasket and valve covor gasket, or can i just bolt everything back and start?

It's not "necessary", but of course, never a bad idea.

Usual way is to take out the passage plug at the front driver's side of the block, and pour in oil. There's a youtube from Melling I think it is, showing how to do it. Should come up in a reasonable Search.

Since you haven't really had any of the "heavy" mechanicals disturbed, it should still be OK. BUT, as was said, not a bad idea to prime it.
