Default destroked 5.7 with 4.8 crank and rods

Hey everybody was just wondering if I could use a 4. 8 crank and rods in a 5. 7 LS1 block with the 5. 7 Pistons

As long as you don’t use floating pin rods with pistons specifically designed for a press pin only, then you should be good.

If I remember the math doesn't work out quite right. I ended up getting 6.3 rods and having custom pistons made to make my long rod motor.

Well the math works just fine. 4.8 Rods and crank can be matched with any 5.3/5.7/6.0/6.2 as long as you use pressed with pressed and floating with floating.
