Default HELP, new heads and cam looking to see if valves clear

build list
stoke flat top pistons
GM MLS heads gasket compressed .054
ls6 prc 2.5 61cc .20 milled
BTR stage 2 ls1 cam 227/234 .614"/.576" 113+2
I am putting the motor back together this weekend and I know how to check for PTV clearance but me being impatient I am curious to know if any of you gear heads will know if this set up with clear or if there is a way to calculate it. thank you all.

Dont take my word for it but even with the heads milled .020 thats a very mild cam so im like 99% sure you will have no clearance issues. How much are your pistons coming out of the hole?

I'm in the process of rebuilding the bottom end but I couldn't imagine very far at all. I had a catastrophic failer after the cam swap 2 weeks ago. I used a cloyes hex a just timing set and the instructions didn't say how to properly install the 3 key way crank gear. long story short the crank was 120 degrees advanced causing 7 exhaust valves to break and 2 pistons to have straight holes through the pistons. so im in the middle rebuilding the bottom end then putting it all back together. unfortunately cloyes hex adjust timing sets do not come with the correct instructions and you have to find them online.

It's too easy to just check it.

Grab your old headgaskets and put them on the block, clay/playdoh the piston tops and slap a head on and snug it with the old bolts. Turn the engine over a couple of revolutions and pull the head and check the clay.

Can be done in 30 minutes or less and you'll know for absolute sure.

I agree it should clear fine, but it's so easy to check, just do it so you aren't worried about it and can clear your mind of the worry
