Thanks for posting the Dyno Sheet. Ive pretty Much settled on using the L33, now I'm just trying to figure out what valvetrain and pistons I'm going to run.
So Ive been reading about cams that are ground for under the curve power, Torquier Cams I guess you could say. Ive always liked the huge Donkey **** Camshafts but I know ALOT of those will kill the 5.3s driveability. That BTR stage 2 looks like its putting in some good work on that 5.3L I like Cams that sound Radical like the Grand Am Cup Cam so I will have to get someone Custom grind me up a Camshaft that isn't too much for my combo, from what ive gathered Bigger is Not Always Better. Lol Power comes first, but I want it sounding EPIC at idle as well. Bark with Bite !
No problem man. It actually ran fairly well also. It ran a 12.50 at 115 with a 1.96 60’ on some nitto 555r extreme drag radials with a ten bolt. If I would’ve thrown a QTP or ET street stiff wall on it, and had the 8.8 under it, I could’ve got the 60’ down and ran into the 11’s no problems.

Wow, thats good man.
I'm probably going to be looking at the Toyo drag radials or M/T drag radials. I hope it hooks when I need it to. Looking into the lightweight flywheel like you mentioned too, I have a LS7 unit now.

The mickeys would be better than toyo’s but to make a 6 speed car work a bias bly is usually the best way to go. I had big plans for a solid roller ls3 setup with a 6 speed but got a good deal on a th400 lol. The lightweight flywheel setup was great, I loved it after I was told by soo many people they weren’t good for drag racing. Worked fine for me thoughdum♂️. Definitely wasn’t what people made it out to be. So don’t be afraid to run one.

Thanks to all that helped me in this thread.
L33 is the verdict. I will update y'all on the engine build in another thread soon. Going to the machine shop this week.

Buy a cam for the powerband and power gains....the sound can be had with a tune/cutout.
