Comp 850's

Anyone running comp 850's in there motor? I'm building an lq4 with the Elgin 1841p cam, NA motor. Deciding between the stock ls7 and the comp lifters, I get a huge discount on comp from a friend so I was leaning towards those but wasn't sure if they were decent/ comparable to the ls7's. Any help would be appreciated.

Reviews on Summit Racing may be worth a look if you haven't already.

Summit, Jegs, BTR & Little John Motorsports all sell them too and list them for Gen III LS engine so they should be decent.

Morel, Johnson or OEM GM LS7 lifters would be my personal choice.

I was "Forced" to buy a set for a LQ9 engine. Hopefully I will post back here in a week or two with some good news about using the 850's
