Oil pressure pegged @ 64(99 C5)

Default Oil pressure pegged @ 64(99 C5)
I started my car up today and noticed the oil pressure guage sweep around as normal and come down to 40 and slowly move to 64psi. This is with the car off. Would a bad sensor cause this?

Sounds like your sensor may have gone bad on you. Double check to make sure also that it did not come undone. Good luck trouble shooting.

After looking at where the sensor is, its probably bad. I recently had a nitrous explosion and it was right in that vicinity where the carnage took place. Thanks!
