blown motor....now lookiing to build a 383 or 408 blew my ls1 motor and now looking to rebuild it this winter with either a 383 or 408. I Want to part it together as cheap as possible. So what are the main components i would need if my old block isnt scrap. I know i need stuff like arp studs and a new crank and pistons but what are some other things i should look into for motor longevity. Like ported oil pump, and other small assmebly parts.
