Question Lingenfelter cam make gains????

Lingenfelter GT2-3 w/ springs. 207/220 duration @ .050 .573/.580

I am looking into a cheap cam that will have total daily driveability and not have to worry about engine probs and reduced engine life. Could I pick up about 20-25 Rear Wheel from this cam with my mods?

yes, and i'd expect much more. however thats not the cam to get if you want "overall" power. like the ls6 cam the gt2-3 doesnt start to make notice until about 5k on.

Should not be a problem to gain 20 off of that cam. There are other alternatives, if I was going to do a cam swap, I would put a bigger cam than that like the 275 Comp or TR224 that would be just as driveable.

It is the other way around. Sence it is on a 118.5lsa it makes power down low. We compared my Dyno graph to a ZO6 and i made more TQ and HP. Also i have an A4 and the ZO6 was a M6.

from the overlays of a ls6 to gt2 3 swap same car, same mods, the curves were relatively the same until 4500. i'll dig up the graph if i can find it. the 98-00 cam is on a 119.5 and the gt2 is on a 118.5. dont remember the icl of the gt2-3 thouogh.

i bet the difference in the curves on your overlay was due to the your tranny.

No problem I made 365rwhp w/ that cam and pretty much the same bolt-on's you have. It's a great cam but will probably make you crave something bigger later on
