Default Head Porters, 5.7litre ls1 vs 5.3litre truck questions?

I know that the compression is higher on the 5.3 litre heads and this is why I decided to purchase a set and port then. My question is what are the other differences of the heads? I know the 5.3 litre heads come with the little valves. Can you use their stock seat and have it re cut for the ls1 valves 2.00/1.55 or aftermarket 2.02/1.57 valves or do you need new seats? Can the ls1 valves be cut with a new valve job? I know you don't need new seats when installing 2.02/1.57 valves in the ls1 heads. Are the intake and exhaust ports the same or very similar to the 5.7litre ls1 head?

I understand the valves will be much more shrouded then the ls1 heads in the combustions chamber. What is recommended when removing material to unshroud the valves in the 5.3litre head?

Piston to valve clearence is another concern. The clearence will be identical to a stock 5.7litre ls1 head correct? I will be running a cam around the specs of 240/242 on a 106lsa so this is very important.

I will probably think of some more questions shortly.
