Anyone melt they're block and head before?
 

Is it worth trying to fix and will it hold up?

Friends down here said it can be fixed, I looking into a short block as we speak :twak:

I know I melted a bit off one of my heads back when I was running the turbo and scorched a head gasket at the bottom of the cylonder. Craig over at Ted's was able to fill it a weld and mill the head. Not sure about the blovk though. Talk with Craig over there. Tell him I said Hi!

we fix melted heads all the time but a block too now that thats scarry

Done it, fixed it, no big deal.

Is this slang? Ive never heard of melting these things before.... except after the car is crushed at the junk yard.

There is a button on the post window that says manage Attachments. Click on that and you can up load the pics on the board.
