Default Ever done your own P2V clearancing? I am going to do it...

I ended up picking up the Isky valve clearancing tools. Expensive, yes. But when I am done with them I will rent or sell them. They won't go bad carving aluminum pistons. And it's still cheaper than pulling the motor, disassembling, sending to the machine shop, then reversing the process with new gaskets, bearings, etc

Only thing is you need a bare head with no valve seats. I'll pick one up, get the seats cutout and then when others need it they can use the whole thing. Or I'll sell it all as a kit.

But it's really slick. you can carve valve reliefs into your pistons accurately and consistently without removing the motor fromt he car or even disassembling it.
