I got a valve spring tool from a buddy (cheap kind) that works on SM block chevy's (GEN I, II) and am wondering what the distance from the Rocker bolt boss to the center of the valve spring is to see if this tool will work. I'd hate to tear everything doen only to put it back together to go get a different one.
