Head Gaskets - GM has new MLS? I had a spare head gasket for an LS engine, pn 12558810 (left side), so I ordered a couple more to use on the engines I am building. GM didn't list the 12558809 part any longer so I got the replacement part. When I got the gaskets I noticed that they were copper colored multi-layer metal (pn 12573949) ...kinda like the Cometic MLS.
Are these gaskets good for either side now? Anybody have any experience with them? Thanks...
