What's the safest you can bore a stock 6.0 block?

Default What's the safest you can bore a stock 6.0 block?

What's the safest you can bore a 6.0 block? I'm hoping it's .060", but I think it's .030".

With sonic testing you can hit 4.060 but it must be strictly N/A use per the tuners. There are a few that do spray, and spray quite a bit, on a 4.060" bore iron block. It's not recommended though.

The sonic testing will tell the machinist how much material is around the liners to warrant a 0.060" bore.
