Building an Iron Block 402/408, is it bad to use a used 6.0 block what problems may present itself with a used 6.0 Lq4 or 9 block or should I disk out the extra $$$ for a new block

Actually, a used block is preferred because it is already been heat cycled and "seasoned". A new block is more likely to shift and distort than a used block.
