Thanks for the warm welcome Lefteye. I did a search for "differences LS1 vs LS6" and kept coming up with errors. In any event thanks for the link. There is alot of info on this board and for someone trying to find some info quick it's just a little overwhelming. I appogize if I ruffled your feathers with my stupid question.

I'm not mad. I understand it's hard to resist the urge to look for answers, but it's worth doing, so consider it a friendly reminder. I'm trying to learn quickly about Ford Powerstroke Diesels, so I'm having a hell of a time trying to keep myself from posting too.
