FM11 TO FM14 on same tune when i get my car back up and running for spring ill have my fm14 cam in running on the fm11 tune. i wont be able to dyno tune it for 500 miles or so till i get my rear broken in. you guys think itll be ok for 500 miles on the fm11 tune? |
Should be fine, I'm pretty sure Gomer ran a few different cams on his original 231/237 tune. PM him, he may know a thing or two about changing combos and tuning. ;) Shawn  |
I thought the F14 would run decently on a stock tune? I would think that it should be fine as the F11 and F14 aren't all that different. But that's JMO, I've got nothing to back it up. Call Allan at Futral, he'll know. |
pdd, I was wondering the same thing about the F11 and the 224/224 cam i have now.. nearest good dyno is 2-3hours from me and its gonna be awhile, before I can get on one to tune. good luck man |
I don;t think it will be that far off. You will be fine. |

I'm driving on stock tune with my FM13 and the only pain in the ass is idle. Considering you are probably close to a good idle tune from your previous FM11, I don't think you will have a problem. Hurry up and get that thing finished. I'm anxious to see your results :) |
Since we are in the topic of FMS cams... I have been doing some research on the FM13 and 11. Is it really true that both cams will idle the same? Im trying to decide between the two. (Im not decided based on sound if thats what anyone might think) :) My car is a M6 |
I have the F10 on a 114 and already want to bump up...the idle isnt bad at all nor is the drivability of it too bad....it bucks at low rpm's though...about the only complaint i have..im thinking maybe the f13 or f15 or the 233/233 from TSP |
