Default okay what am i leaving out

i have a stock ls1 now.... only mods in sig.. ill be buying the stuff ruffly in this order

pistons diamond or je, not sure what bore size, but 2cc n2o style. 600$
rings 179
rods 600$ or so
rod bolts ???$
engine bearings or whatever ???$

ls2 chain 30$
dual spring kit about 300$
tsp cam.. prollly 233/239 or magic stick about 340$
pushrods about 110$
ls6 pump ???$

dyno tune 500$
having machine work, balance adn assembly of shortblock done, so whatever that cost, will be doing top end myself..

then ill prolly upgrade to

3500 stall and 3.73 with t/a cover
lt's and duals maybe.
TIRES
and all the other small **** i will need.

still not sure if im going to do rods or not as i may just keep the 150 shot on it.. i prolly need new pistons and rings though if im going to spray witht he cam for insurance.

and finally somday i will get afr 205 heads.. they wont be touched any so i assume they will clear either of those cams.

these are the long term plans ... basically i want to invest now in a slightly better bottom end setup.. so i can run my cam and spray for a few years and not worry about shelling out more money cuz my motor evnetually lets go ya know! im 19.. and would rather not worry about investing 3k agian until im a lil older with a lil better income.

If you get rods they will come with rod bolts.

Machine work will cost anywhere from 400-650 and you can get your bearings from the machine shop.

I would strongly suggest going with APR bolts

Don't forget about the simple things:
Plugs
Plug wires
ti-retainers

and possibly....
catch can
lower stat
LS6 PCV (not to be confused with the intake)
Ported TB
ASP Pulley

Personally, I think that you should change out to a good set of LT headers to get more out of the cam - or else you can probably bank on being a little disappointed in your numbers.

Good luck and have fun
...........I know I did

I would also get a double roller. It is not much more and well worth the peice of mind.

If you are going to do it now then do it all the way. Get the rods and yes they do come with bolts and most companies do use ARP for there rod bolts. With forged pistons and rods you can spray a hell of alot more then a 150 shot btw.
