i am new , i need some cam help ! PLEASE
Hello , thanks for looking . right now i am in the midle of installing a LS1 in a 70 nova . this is a n auto car . i need to know what cam and valve springs to use . i want some what of a muscle car idle to it , but i dont want to sacrifice driveabilty , or torque.
speartech is doing my harness and he recomended a comp cam 222/222 part number 54-000-11 . and 918 springs .
what do you think . i will later be adding some heads and ls6 intake . i need to get this finished in the next week or so , you help woould be greatly apreciated . thanks

Anything around a 224 with around 570-80 lift should be fine. Muscle car idle? Easy.. get it on a 112LSA.

daily driver for sure . . also what about a converter . keep it stock or change it . any thought are great .the motor is out of the car now and i could do a cam change easily right now . along with a converter .
this is a street car . not drag . i want it to run good but i am not focused on straight line performance . street drivabilty means alot to my customer .
i was definately thinking of a 112LSA
