MyniceSS | 02-12-2005 04:10 PM | Can't Decide.... Opinions needed. I'm planning on doing a cam install soon, but I'd like to do performance mods in stages, where as a good friend of mine was advising me to do the cam and heads install at the same time, just to save myself the headache, wrenchtime and frustration. I have the money to do it now, but I wasn't planning on doing it so soon. I'd like to break the 400 mark with only a cam, and break the 450 mark with heads and a cam. This are the mods either planned or already in the mail.
MTI Lid, 85 MM MAF, KooKs LT, ORY, Hooker Catback, Spec 3 clutch, TSP 233/239 112LSA cam, and I'd undecided on heads. The suspension is already sorted out with full spogn components. Any inputs opinions and or advice would be greatly appreciated. Should I just go ahead and do the cam and heads at the same time (which makes the most sense anyway) and is there anything else I'm missing? The car is a 2000 SS M6. And what's a good set of stock size replacement tires, since I'll be using the money for my wheels to get the heads, I'll just but a new set of 275 series tires. Thanks inadvanced. |
