Verter is the first mod for any A4 owner. You'll get way more out of it than putting a cam in on a stock tc. Then bolt ons to support a cam then the cam.

www.vincihighperformance.com I have an 04 C5 A4 still with stock converter. donaldson, crane 1.8 rocker kit with dual spring kit, dynatech ss longtubes, magnaflow 351rwhp/ 360ft#tq. last month I installed VHP Boss II camshaft 216/224 .551 with 1.8 rockers .590, PP ls6 style 2.055 heads with crane billet double roller chain, tuned with VHP tuner set on cam selection #3 with 10% enrichment, pulls extremely hard from 1500-6200 rpm, have not dynoed since H/C install. car idles @ 650 in gear, with noticeable lope. will dyno, then install yank ss3200 with billet drive plate. after that, AFR heads and dyno again.

:stupid: get the converter first it will knock off more ET then just doing a baby cam, which without any supporting mods is what your limited to. you would get more out of a cam by having headers/TB/Lid/ect...
