My plan: G5X2 on a 112 and some 5.3's Hey everyone. I've decided I want the G5X2 for my first cam. I never got to install the TSP233/239 and I wanted this cam since I first got my LS1, so I'm going for it. I'm choosing this over the G5X3 because you can run 112 LSA on an automatic, it has a little bit lower power band, and seems to focus torque a bit lower. Not to mention that it makes kick *** power and will work with stock heads and the ones I will soon be getting. I've decided to go with some cheap stock 5.3's and change the valves for larger ones, see how I like that, and then possibly get them ported/polished. Sound good?
