Why hasn't... ... any other manufacture jumped on the Gen III bandwagon with offering cylinder heads? AFR and GMPP are the only two manufactures (and one gets the GM tooling) that are making aftermarket heads. Is anyone else (Brodix, Dart, ProTopline...) researching or developing heads? Not that the two product lines that are currently on the market aren't bad (by no means are they) but it would be nice to see some more competition to help cut the costs. Anybody have any ideas? |

I have a set of All Pro's... there their own deal Comp Cams bought pro top line and I'd be looking for some LS1/6 heads from them also... I'd agree that the stock heads provide enough capabilities for 90% of builds.. brodix and dart are prob busy trying to out do each other in the big block stuff.. |

Aren't the All Pro"s the Dart product? |
No All Pro is their own deal I belive might be wrong but they arent associated with Pro Topline in New Zeiland now owned by Comp |
ET Performance has a very nice aftermarket casting. |
AFR, ET Performance, All Pro, Dart, and Edelbrock all have heads that are released or going to be released. I asked a guy I know at Brodix and it's gonna be a lil while on them. Personally I'd take an All Pro and have someone who knows how to port them go at it and have the best possible head as of right now. |
Links on the other products that are out there?? I haven't heard any rumblings about these at all, then again, I've just recently started reading here again. |
It will be quite sometime before Comp has a head ready. |
I heard that the All Pro's are a part of Callies. I'de surely like to see some awesome flow numbers in the 350's+....... yeah for an almost all out race application. |
Callies will be the primary distributor for them. Brodix has nothing coming for LS1 or LT1 applications, although you will be able to get some nice setups from Weldtech later this year. I love the PRI show. :) |
