Look in the sponsor feedback section. Patriot found the problem before anyone knew. A few heads made it out before the issue was found but has since been fixed. Gunnar wants to be contacted and he will take care of you. I had called FFHP yesterday about this problem because I had just ordered a set of heads and wanted to make sure that I wasn't going to get a bad set.

They can get them from either place and they hand finish them. You decide when you calll them. I believe the TEA's are more expensive though.

If you get the TEA cnc'd heads they have nothing to do with Patroit. Mine are sweet and worth the extra money, though it ain't all that much more.

I pick up my 5.3's from FFHP tomorrow. They are unmilled with 2.02/1.57 valves... i know scott and brad well, i know they stand behind their work, and if someone has a problem, they will take care of it..

if you get the LS6 style heads they'll be PP castings no matter who does the CNC work as PP is the only company to use the 317 cast heads and then weld the chambers up. they used to use canfield for that but apparently they've gone elsewhere now.

for any other head (5.3 or 5.7) i'd imagine FFHP gets there own cores. my 5.7 head was done with a new 241 casting.

Well I am not looking for a LS6 style head due to the fact that I dont want to go up in compression. I would like it to be bumped down a bit. Because I am going FI and not NA. And arent you a FFHP head user also if I recall?

They get the LS6 heads from Patriot. MOST of the 5.7/5.3 heads are CnC'd at TEA, but some of them are CNCd at Patriot as well. like stated before, you get to choose. i chose the TEA.
