Look in the sponsor feedback section. Patriot found the problem before anyone knew. A few heads made it out before the issue was found but has since been fixed. Gunnar wants to be contacted and he will take care of you. I had called FFHP yesterday about this problem because I had just ordered a set of heads and wanted to make sure that I wasn't going to get a bad set.

I pick up my 5.3's from FFHP tomorrow. They are unmilled with 2.02/1.57 valves... i know scott and brad well, i know they stand behind their work, and if someone has a problem, they will take care of it..

for any other head (5.3 or 5.7) i'd imagine FFHP gets there own cores. my 5.7 head was done with a new 241 casting.

Well I am not looking for a LS6 style head due to the fact that I dont want to go up in compression. I would like it to be bumped down a bit. Because I am going FI and not NA. And arent you a FFHP head user also if I recall?

They get the LS6 heads from Patriot. MOST of the 5.7/5.3 heads are CnC'd at TEA, but some of them are CNCd at Patriot as well. like stated before, you get to choose. i chose the TEA.
