Default Got my TSP 225 today...

It is going in tomorrow. The cam card specs are a bit different than the advertised numbers. Is this pretty normal?

I'm not concerned, I think I'll be happy with the new set up!

Maybe that's why they perform better than most 224/224 cams, LOL!

Don't the use Lunati? You never get what you pay for with a lunati cam. That's the same issue that was had with MTI cams a few years ago, but im not sure if they still use them though.

TSP 225 is in. They use Comp BTW.

Car idles great, idle speed is about 1000 rpms, I will lower that on the tune, it should sound pretty sweet then. Nothing to radical sounding with the 114 LSA, but noticable. I can't wait for a few WOT runs tomorrow. Getting the car dynoed/tuned on Wednesday.

Don't know what TSP lists it at.
The cam card says Duration @ .006= Intake 275 Exhaust 275.

I will keep everyone updated. So far I really like the cam, it drives WAY better than I thought it would-untuned.

Thanks TSP.

Yep, the TSP 225 is an awesome cam. I've had mine for about 4 months. Will be getting it dyno'd at Thunder in a few weeks before I put on a set of Tea 5.3's.

So how does it idle on the a4? Does it die when coming to stops and surge a lot? I should have my FMS F10 228 - 576 - 114 cam in by this summer. Oh man i can't wait.

My car has stock programming, it has never died. It does shake a bit at idle in gear and buck at low speeds, but it is not bad at all. My car is running pig rich, you can smell gas & mileage looks to have dropped on the stock tune. My car idles at a little over 1000 rpms right now, I want to lower it to 850 or so, it will sound badass for a 114 LSA.

A+ for what it is out of the box though!!!
