thanks a bunch

Dont. It has been well proven in the past that they have issues....on the business side especially. Go with proven sponsors that consistently deliver.

I went there myself. It was a bit shaky for a while, but they have done well and stood behind prompt warranty work.

ARE heads

Went to ARE and talked to Nick on the 26th of march. He spent a good amount of time showing me around his new facility. It is quite impresive. Had a good look at his stage 3 heads and how they are made. Nick claims that the heads will flow around 330 on the intake and take over 7000 rpm. He said they are using new castings and he sells these heads for around 1600.00 US.
Any comments about his heads?

Why make the choice to go with a business that has proven to screw people over in the past when there are other shops out there that do better work without the shady history?

Hardtop00SS Mar 28, 2005 10:48 AM

The heads look nice, not on the car yet, I have a flow sheet for mine, but it's at my house and I am at school. I will post up the flow sheet tonight.

ARE did my St 3 H/C last year and the car was reliable as far as motor went. It did eat a Z06 clutch and a stock 10 bolt for lunch though, only do to the extra motor under the hood.

They are currently building me a 415ci LS2 as well. I'll let you know on that in a few weeks.

Thery have been good to deal with for me. I have only been dealing with them for the last year though, so prior to that I have no experience.

Hope that helps.
