thanks a bunch |
Dont. It has been well proven in the past that they have issues....on the business side especially. Go with proven sponsors that consistently deliver. |
thanks, theres so many options out there now i cant make up my mind |
My buddy went up to are to have them install it and loves them. He told me that they had issues before but have since changed. He loves his setup. if you have any ? i could probably pull his graph and email you. me personally im gonna go with some patriots when they get the kinks fixed. but pm me if i can be any help. |
I went there myself. It was a bit shaky for a while, but they have done well and stood behind prompt warranty work. |
I have a set of their heads for sale. Stage 3. PM me your # if interested. |
yep, just got my ARE heads in last week, look awesome, the buisness has turned around for the best IMO, I talked to Peter K, awesome guy, talk to him, he'll get you all straightened out, tell him Robbie sent you. :) |
ARE heads Went to ARE and talked to Nick on the 26th of march. He spent a good amount of time showing me around his new facility. It is quite impresive. Had a good look at his stage 3 heads and how they are made. Nick claims that the heads will flow around 330 on the intake and take over 7000 rpm. He said they are using new castings and he sells these heads for around 1600.00 US. Any comments about his heads? |
Why make the choice to go with a business that has proven to screw people over in the past when there are other shops out there that do better work without the shady history? |
The heads look nice, not on the car yet, I have a flow sheet for mine, but it's at my house and I am at school. I will post up the flow sheet tonight. |
ARE did my St 3 H/C last year and the car was reliable as far as motor went. It did eat a Z06 clutch and a stock 10 bolt for lunch though, only do to the extra motor under the hood. They are currently building me a 415ci LS2 as well. I'll let you know on that in a few weeks. Thery have been good to deal with for me. I have only been dealing with them for the last year though, so prior to that I have no experience. Hope that helps. Rampant |
What castings are they using now? |
