Extra CC's when flycutting?

How do you figure additional CC's when fly cutting? I will be fly cutting the intake .040-.050 and exhaust .020-.025 and am concerned about how much I will decrease my CR.

Are you referring to fly cutting the head deck? I'm kinda lost here, sorry!

he means fly cutting the pistons. fly cuts or valve reliefs lower the combustion volume therefore the compression ratio. small fly cuts wont reduce compression much.

Figure total with both cuts is about 1 CC.

Diamonds with larger cuts are 2CCs.

Hey JRP do you think I'd gain over about 1.5 CC combined per piston. I swear I saw something on this in the archives but can't find anything now.

Thanks Lou.
