best oil to put back in with new cam?

ive been running mobile 1 5w30 for 44k, and i must say im impressed... everything came out shiny clean as if it were new, no metal anywhere, no dirt/grime... seriously the rockers and especially the camshaft, nothing showed any wear whatsoever..

so will 5w30 keep doing the trick? or when ppl run a bigger cam do they switch to a different wieght ect? is oil consumption going to get worse? ive never had any before that has been noticable..

Who knows? Me personally would not go heavier than 10w30 with a hotter, higher lift cam. If your oil consumption goes up after the cam swap, you might try a little heavier oil ?
