Default Advise: What to do next??? Is heads worth doing or should I call it done???

Hey all:
Quick run down on my set-up.

02 Z-28 A4 with 16,180 miles.

Mods fram, k&n, slp lid, slp bellow's, slp ported throttle body, asp crank pulley, 224/224 580 lift at 114 lsa, 918 springs, pushrods, pacsetters lt headers, tsp y-pipe with hi-flow cats, catback exaust, 342 gears, tci 3,200 stall with a 2.2 str and a full tune by Jeff Creech.

I am thinking about heads but not sure if it is worth the money. Not a big fan off nos and I already have one blown car.

Should I call it quites or am I missing something?

Or is heads a must? If so what would be the best set for me?

Just want some advise.

Thanks all

heads are really nice.......it all comes down to money and how fast you want to go.......I personally would have never done a cam without heads in the first place.......

Heads are well worth the money. While you do receive a nice jump in peak power the area under the curve is what improves most. A few days ago I was comparing my dyno graph to a 02 stock headed LS1 w all boltons running an F14 cam. Although our peak numbers were similar 413rwhp @ 381 rwtq, my setup was considerably stronger under the curve. For instance, I had 20-23rwtq from 3500-4400rpms over the larger cam, 15rwhp more from 3000-5000rpms and hit 400rwhp 400rpms earlier. My heads flow considerably more than his 241 stockers allowing my small 224 to beat the larger F14. Now if he would add heads to take advantage of more duration and lift he would then be beating me. Proven power making heads I like are TEA S1.5 5.3L's, AFR 205's, Rapid Motorsports Stage II heads are really quality products also....

If you plan on alot of track time a stronger rear would be nice but I don't hear alot of A4's grenading the 10 bolt either.

like said above, get a rearend and some sticky tires, suspension, and head to the track!

Then worry about heads later. You can never be "done", at least I don't think I could be..

Heads and/or a bigger cam. Then a 12 bolt.

I plan to be largely finished with modding when I reach forged bottom end with stock cubes, heads, cam, and nitrous. Plus all the suporting mods. I'll probably ahve something else to work on by then though.
