well unless you want to pull the heads off and replace them, i would say stick with the stock lifters
tons of cars run big aftermarket cams, and hardly any of them pull their heads off for a cam swap, THEREFORE.........
unless you're like me and have pulled your heads to change the lifters and nothing else all in the name of the eternal quest for the ever illusive !tick mod

shoulda included this information in the 1st post
how many miles are on the car? the stock lifters can handle that cam, and the stock replacements (comp 850's) are not a big improvement from the stockers. the comp r lifters, although better than the 850's, require an adjustable rocker arm to set the preload correctly.
if you have the money, i would look into the morel lifters. they are a VERY nice units (futral sells them i think?) as does racetechspeed. they are quite a bit for a set, but have alot of nice features.
example) they fill the lower part of the lifter bores better for improved oil pressure because of less oil loss thru the bottom (if your cam has a smaller base circle). i actually read that they boosted one guy's oil pressure quite a bit (think it was a moderator).
the oiling holes are also made differently as are the recesses for the oiling holes.
the pushrod cup is supossed to be of better design as well.

The car has 45k miles on it. I have heard a ton of good things about the morels but money is tight right now so If I don't need them don't want to replace them, ya know.
