Car can't find idle
 

I recently had a TR 236/230 .599/.575 112lsa cam installed and tuned. car still strugles to find idle alot. Sometime it is great other times it will surge up and down for about 2 minutes. Is this normal with this size cam? :bang:

most definatly...get a tune and be happy...you will prolly still have surging a little even when tuned..but nothing like what you have now

That is what I thought to. Sometimes you start it up and it is great others you just want to drive it into a wall. I feel kind of stupid sometimes at a redlight with a loud ass car going waaaaa, waa, waaaaa, waa, waaaaa.

:werd: i'd get that checked out...where did you get the tune from...that is how my cam acted when it was untuned...and mine is a little bigger than yours

just wondering - what other mods do you have on your car

I have forge internals, ls6 intake, ported maf, ported TB, lid, exhaust, stock 98 heads, and it was dyno tuned.Put down 410 hp

where at...who did the tuning...do you have a graph...sounds like it was just tuned for wot...no street tune...that's quite a bit of power out of a cam only car...especially with a cam of that size...

I will pm you it was a sponsor who did a good job with everything dont want any bad publicity for them.

Does it do it when warmed up? Mine will hunt/surge at idle for a couple minutes after startup, longer if cold.
