725 N/A HP...for the street..what do you think
This is the MORE Performance 427 LS6/C5R race engine. They said it would be fine on the street, the valves would just need adjusting every now and then, if I went with a solid roller cam.
This engine with an F1 super charger and C5R heads would be the cats ***.
Do you think it would be OK on the street? And YES, I'm considering it if things work out business-wise in the next couple months.

Haha, I guess that your "legal issues" may be going your way. Congrats. I dunno. If I had that kind of $ to splurge, I think I would do a forged 402. Since your going to boost the hell out of it, i don't think you'll miss the extra inches. Probably save a lot of cash vs. the MORE motor as well. Haven't you heard of a rainy day fund? hehe

That engine's been around for a while. Remember, that's 725 fwhp, not rwhp. Probably a nice motor, just haven't heard of anybody owning one...just seen a picture of it in a magazine article by David Vizard a year ago. For that kind of money, you would hope it had C5R heads. Ported LS6 heads? For $28.9k?

They said they cost about $10,000 ready to install with all the machining. Ready to install is the only way they work, bare heads are mearly paper-weights.

This is coming from MORE and other top shops, so I'm just telling you what they have said to me.
And remember when 500 RWHP N/A was a fantasy

What kind of power could be had if I turboed or SC'ed the motor I have now?
1000 RWHP?

Here is a video of a forged stock displacement TT. 790 rwhp. With your motor with lower compression 900+ should be easily attainable. Plus a lot more streetable than a 700 rwhp n/a motor.

FYI. You should be closer to 1000 Crank HP with a setup like that.
My buddies down in Australia with T-Trims behind a 408 with ported ls1 heads are making 800+ RWHP. 1200RWHP on race gas with a bigger blower...
Talk to W2W and see what Kurt can offer you...
