Here are a few more things my heads are 67.8cc
Polished combustion chambers
.041 head gaskets
going to run 650 ultra hp carb and a single plane intake
the 374 is a 3.905 bore, 3.900 crank, and a 6.125 rod all eagle stuff 4340 with je pistons
That combo with 66cc heads is said to be 11.0 to 1 so i should be some where around 10.8 and i am goin to mix gas.

Any help out there
thanks :burn:

Yeap, Change cam.
That cam is too small for those cubes. Will make a nice Tow Stang though. Put something like an LG G5X2.

single plane manifold need rpms to shine. You'll run out of steam by the time you reach it's power range.

What are the specs on that cam, power range etc. I just don't want to have to worry about p/v clearance i didn't want to fly cut my pistons. And where would i get that cam and how much does it cost. :drive:

that cam is pretty big. The only thing i don't understand is i had a friend that overreved his vette to about 7600 and bent all the valve but 1 exhaust. How are people but these hugh cams in and not having a problem. And do u think i would have to flycut my pistons for that cam its over 595 lift
Thanks

you def need a bigger cam, say a nice 230/232 at least, and if your friend revved his vette up to 7600 rpm then thats his problem, if he is on the stock short block then he is on crack because thats way too high to be reving the engine, id say max on a stock short block would be like 6700rpm. People dont have a problem because they dont over-rev their engines like your buddy. It depends on the fly-cutting question, you should probably ask one of the sponsors, they would know the exact lift number that you could go with without having to cut your pistons. Hope that helps and good luck with your build!
