Default 225-225/595-595/114+2 In my Vette?

Let me start off by saying the car is an 03 convertible Vette that is lightly driven around town. It's never going to pound it's way down the track. However that being said I do want it to perform well stop light to stop light against whatever might come along. I modded the **** out of my Z28 and now want to do a little to the Vette but not as crazy as what I did to the Camaro.

What do you guys think about this CAM 225-225/595-595/114+2 with stage III custom worked heads, Bassani LT headers? I figure the high lift will work the heads properly and the 225 duration with an LSA of 114 should pass CA smog and still idle okay, am I right? Is this a good choice for me?

Sounds like a good choice to me. I'm not totally sure on the cali smog, I know a TR224 on a 114 passes, and I think that cam on a 112 can with spot on tuning, so the extra degree of duration will probably be okay...so long as you get a good tune.

Not sure about Cali emissions, but I'd call Futral Motorsports and ask them about it. They did a real number on my Vette
