I have a couple of new LS6 blocks I can get you into. $550.00. These are new, never been used. Freight should be about $80.00 or less. Let me know if I can help!!

Wow, about $630 total for a new LS6 block. Thats a great deal. I wish I saw that before I ended up buying a used ls1 for $250, finding out it was no good, and then buying a brand new LS6 from someone else for $770 shipped. You can probably post those in the classifieds and they would go real quick at that price.

BTW, what is the difference between the LS6 and LS1 block?

Nothing major, improved oiling at crank, better oild drainback, lighter (tiny amount). Basically that block was made for higher reving track capable vette.
No differences in power output from block to block.
