looking for new cam in 422 iron block
am considering a cam swap in my 422 iron block setup in 99 6 speed vette. currently have a 242/242 610/610 on 113, have been seeing the fms cam around 250/257 and the thunder at 248/254 620ish on lift. have tea stage 3 6.0 judson heads, kooks, the works. any thoughts and insight appreciated. thanks, joe

If you go with Futral or TR, both will use Cam Motion grinds, so they'll be pretty close. Also, since they are fairly close to each other (if you are going to them for the install and tune) and both are great shops, can't go wrong with either.
Go with 250/257 113 LSA, though. Make sure you have some compression on that motor, 11.8:1 or more, because the cam's overlap will bleed off quite a bit.
Also, Comp has some crazy grinds that are 260+ duration hydraulic that have over .630" lift as well if you want to go that route.
