Talking Our new Stage 1 head is almost finished!

Just wanted to give a heads up to everyone on our new stage 1 head we have been developing. It is almost finished. Preliminary results are looking good. How does 300 cfm out of the stock intake valve sound, Plus is has killer mid lift numbers.

These heads are going to be available with in the next few weeks and using 5.7 castings for under $1000.00 exchange!!!!!

This head comes with complete CNC ported intake and exhaust runners. (We are using a stock combustion chamber to minimize compression loss.)

Competition valve job, milling to bring up compression to a respectable level, flowing, and assembly and also included in the less than $1000.00 exchange price tag are Comp cams 26918-16 spring kit!!

We were the originator's of the budget performance head when we cam out with the 1.5 5.3 head. We were the first to offer dual springs as standard equipment and now we will be the first company to offer a sub 1000.00 head that flows 300 cfm! Most importantly you will get the same quality and workmanship you have come to know and love from TEA.

PS what do you mean you already have a drop in set of springs? No problem send them to us and we will use yours and save you another 169.00! then you will have a 300 cfm head for under $850.00 exchange!

I will let you know when the first set is dyno tested. I think you will be impressed.
We are also going to have 3 different combustion chamber sizes. 67,63 and 59

hehe, cool

i hope it's sooner than later.. i need to replace my lifters ASAP, as one of them will collapse soon and I wanted to replace them before it happens

$1,000 heads that'd produce ~420rwhp with tr224 would definitely be what I would get

Brent, are you going to be able to make this offer available on an exchange basis with a core charge for our heads until we have the chance to install the ported ones?

Thanks!

WOW! These are using stock intake and exhaust valves?

How much will they go for with TEA duals? How much is the core? Sounds like a lot of bang for your buck.

With a set of our dual springs add 90.00, of course that will also get you titanium retainers!
And yes that is using stock intake and exhaust valves!

I've also talked with Brent breifly and if all goes well I'll be picking up a set of these heads sometime near the beginning of next race season. For the price and performance these are going to be tough to beat.

Hey Brent:

This is Ken from Goodyear. Looking forward to getting my stage 1.5 heads from you. I do have to say these heads you have for a $1,000 sound great. Hopefully the extra $550.00 I spent on the stage 1.5 heads will be worth it over these heads you now have at this great price.

Hey Brent wanna send me a set and I will throw a cam in and have it tuned and tested within a week?
Already have all the boltons in place, we could agree on a cam that would fit these heads nicely and I will post all results asap.

We have not planned on anything for the 4.8/5.3 head because of the core price difference. However I am sure we can do it if you send us your cores.

as for the guys that thought they were done spending money

I already have a set of 243 heads. Can I send them in to be ported for $850? What kind of numbers to be expected?

Great deal. I'll be looking into this real soon. I'd also like to know if you can ship an unassembled head. All I need is bare heads and valves.
