What's a good duration split for N/A

What is the advantage of say a 244/250 cam VS a 248/248 cam. These #'s are just for the ? and not an exact cam that i'm looking at. I am just trying to determine the duration split for a cam i want and i am not sure what the benifit is with either cam profile :judge:

Figure out what heads you want and where the weak spot is. Being that your exhaust ports will flow less than the intake, I would bias more duration towards the exhaust.

Have you already bought them yet? If not, get a set and have them worked like you want them then have them flow tested. Get a custom cam based on your results. You would be happier than with an off-the-shelf cam.
