New Tick Sound..

New Tick Sound.. I was at the exhaust shop today..cuz i had an exhaust leak..as he got it in the air..i noticed there was alot of oil on the bottom of the transmission..gotta be leaking somewhere. Sure enough it had an exhaust leak..we patched that up..and i was on my way..but on my way home..i noticed there still was a ticking. I popped the hood..and its not coming from the top of the motor. I put my head by each head to see if i could hear a bent pushrod or something of that sort. nothing. The ticking is coming from under the car. What could this be?

anybody? Im beging to think its still an exhaust leak..the tick sounds seems to differ with the exhaust..if it was a lifter it would be a constant tick no alter in sound. Which its not.
