Oh hell yea.
Do a search on this cam as compared to the F13 and you'll see exactly why it is that durations matter so much more than lifts for street driving.

While I was typing that response, another aspect may come into play. That is, what is, going to be the direction of the car. I see you have gears, and indeed the 3.73 gear is the best all round gear, and that's just not my opinion but a mathematical oddity. Lol see what I mean there are so many things you can do, that what you do is less important than what you want to do.
In my experience, there are several key theories to follow. As another instance, all to often, I see an inexperienced enthusiast going after the biggest and best cam they can get grips on. While this may be a good example, it most certainly is not the rule of thumb. Anyway, what happens is that the cam does not work as intended, and the enthusiast loses all respect for the reference source. That is easily avoided with some basic prep-work.
Tuners and Sponsers (there are too many to list, it would be futile to try) understand this, and have the ability to recommend specific cams for specific goals, as is shown in their recent track record, you know. They are not hesitant in recommending their cams, because they were intended to fit the requirements of vehicle, not just Show how fast do you really want to go, know what I mean? Do you drag race? What is your budget? These are two key questions that someone who minds these things on a daily basis may ask you.
EDIT: I see there were several replies in the time it took me to write this; talk about hot!

777 made some strong recommendations, you should check them out.
Sponsers make both Super Aggressive, Aggressive, and softer lobes (which are abundently popular). Price will be different based on which kit you buy from which Sponser and what your plans are.

First thing you should do is to tell your mechanic to wait until you figure out what the hell you're going to do.
Next, read ALL of JRP's stickies. You can find them at the top of this section and in his sig.
When you are done reading them, read them again. There is a lot of GREAT information there and you need to read it more than once to let it all sink in.
After you have read the stickies at least twice, you should be educated enough your searches yeild better results. You are not the first person in your situation, nor will you be the last.
If you don't feel like searching or reading the stickies, stop wasting your time and start throwing all your money at your car.

On another note, builders take Pride in teching, researching, and producing their own cam profiles.
Talk to the mechnanic about durability, talk to the architect about characteristics. They have different, times of characteristics to each his own. I'll be damned if I can list all the good ones, I'm no mechanic.
Which is to take nothing away from mail order cams, it's just there's an endless list of benefits from sponsers with years and years of experience and results to back up their own cars.
I could go on...
