Default Stock OEM Lifters $$$$

Can anyone tell me where the cheapest place is to buy stock oem lifters? On GMpartsdirect.com there $23.53 a piece. Thats insane! They dont have to be GM but any OEM replacement will work.

Thanks in advance,
Vann

I have a bunch of extras laying around. How many do you need? Just pm me and i'll give you a price. I have a few extra (8) from a 408 where a guy decided to go solid roller so they have very little run time (maybe 100 miles or less). Just let me know what you need.

I will have a set of Comp R for sale soon, they are too noisy for me.
I stepped up to Morel, they are $$ but it will be worth it to quiet down the valve train.

Im trying to stay away from the comps, Ive read to many complaints about them. I actually need all 16 of them. Im not going to do one or two. I have both heads off so I might as well do them all. Thanks for all the quick responses.

Gomer- You have 16?

I drove it for about 5mins the other day & it pulled like a freight train. I havent started tunning on it much though, because of the lifters so I pulled the heads back off yesterday. Once I get everything settled in Ill keep you updated.

They were starting to tick & I also had one get stuck, Causing the valve to hit the piston. I dont want to just replace one so while I have the heads off just to ease my mind. Im going to swap them all. Well before I buy new ones, how easily should they be to compress? What I mean is I can take one of my stock pushrods & try to push in on the lifter & it doesnt move. I can take the brand new one I have & do the same & it will compress easily. I may be wrong but this is why I made the assumption that I need to replace them all. BTW the new one was full of oil & would still eaisly compress.
