LME's reputation? I've searched quite abit and im looking for some "factual" expericences these guys will be building a 408 suited for 1000-1400 HP. |
I've seen that name mentioned many times, usually only in goo feedback, I have not seen anything degrading about them. Thats just my .02 |
Well, they have a motor in a turbo car that runs low 8's (Worm Boy). |
i got my 408ci long block made by them.. I've had it for about 2 months still no problems but havent pushed it to the limits.. great customer service and they know what their doing.. wouldnt hasitate to order from them again.. the turn around time for the build was about correct.. by the way your going with a turbo set up right?? |

Pecos at LME has been building LS1s since they came out. He was a machinist/builder/porter for another leading LS1 building shop before starting LME a couple years ago. That being said, LME is currently building my iron block 408ci for the twin-turbo drag car project. Should be 900-1000 rwhp no problem with twin 60mm turbos. Tony |
I have an LME 408 and it runs fucking STRONG. |

My shortblock seems VERY STRONG! Great oil pressure, no oil loss. |
