Default Heres the combo I came up with, whatcha think?

2002 WS6. I'm putting on pacesetter lt's, tsp y pipe no cats, slp 3" dual/dual, vigilante 3000 stall, now the valve train putting in comp cams 921 springs, titanium retainers, comp cams magnum 1.75 rockers, hardenend pushrods, rollmaster hardenend timing chain, and texas speed torquer 2 cam specs are 232/234 .595/.598 and 112 LSA. How does this sound. From my research it should make good power, be very streetable and have a mean sounding idle.

What do you consider streetable?

Cam is a little big, so you'll lose a bit of low end tq. More "streetable" cams would be a bit closer to 224/224, but I guess with the 3000 stall it won't be too bad.

With a cam that big, I'd also stay with stock size rockers.

Also, no cats and SLP dual/dual are kinda contradictory. No cats is loud, rough, smelly, and raspy. Dual/dual is pretty much the quietest setup you can get.

Why not get high flow cats, and a more free flowing muffler? I'd bet it would sound much better. (it's what I've got, and I just heard my exhaust next to my 69 Mustang Mach 1 with a 390 big block, and my exhaust actually sounds just as good).

Other than that, it should be a pretty good, and affordable setup.

I totally agree with the above response.

I don't. With the lobes that this cam is cut on, you'll have a nice gain in low-end TQ. The lobes are quite aggressive and open the valve very fast in the lift range. This allows for better cylinder filling, thus more hp/tq. I do agree with the use of the stock rockers. SLP exaust with no cats leaves a nice deep tone which is completly useable on the street and not obnocious. I believe the high flow cats is really the wrong way to go and will hinder overall performance. The SLP muffler is one of the highest flowing on the market and will keep the sound "tame" with no cats. Everything else seems fine.

Well I liked the slp exhaust but if I have to i'll change the muffler. As far as the rockers the 1.75 should only add about .015 of lift. And comps I didn't see a stock ratio. But i'm gonna prolly go with a vigilante 3600 stall. Think that will go much better. Thanks, i'm open to any other coments too. Oh yeah and streetable I think is, not stalling and good vaccuum. I know it will have a chopy idle but I want that.
