Valley Cover with breather....

I ran into this picture online on the Chevy High Performance web site.

http://www.speakeasy.org/~camaross/M...lley_Cover.jpg

Unfortunately they didn't not have any kind of information as to were they got the cover.

I was wondering if anyone here knows who makes this valley cover and where I can get it.

Thanks in advance,

Ross

I've never seen it either. Looks easy as hell to make though. Even if you don't have access to a tig welder, you could make that yourself pretty easy.

I wonder if anyone else has seen it though? Pretty cool.

how would you go about making it without access to a welder?

SUX2BU 10-27-2005 08:11 PM

i could make that very easily at work.

what manifold would clear that tube? i don't think my single plane would even clear that tube and a filter on the top.

i thought that wa sused on a carb style setup and came with some kits?

BigSteele 10-28-2005 12:14 AM

good picture to show the sensor in the back, is that the oil pressure sending unit?
people might find this useful when doing the ls6 intake swap

I have the mag with the original article and it was for a carb setup.

Don't know that having that post directly in the middle of incoming air is the best choice.

That post isn't in the way of anything. Remember it is a carburated set up.

yeah, it would be right in between the first two intake runners, but i don't see how there would be room for a filter on the top of it even with the manifold...maybe i'm just not seeing it in my head.
