Let's play "What's that noise?"! So I fired up my LS1 this afternoon with an outside air temp of about 28-30 degrees. As soon as it turned over I heard what can best be described as a sandpaperish noise coming from the passanger side bank. It seems to be coming from the top end. It's like a swooshing/sanding noise. It could also sound like a bunch of ball bearings rolling around quickly in a pan or something.
Does anyone have any clue as to what this could be?

I didn't let it warm up. I was worried about doing any damage so I shut it down after a minute or so. The sound did change with engine RPM, I found that to be odd too...
I'll let it warm up tomorrow when the OAT is higher than 10* and see what happens.
