How the hell did you get it out.

AdamSS Nov 20, 2005 10:02 AM

YEY - spaghetti pushrods !!!

Seriously, how did you get it out. Pushrods holes are not that wide....
I assume those were stock pushrods...did you over rev it, or something ?

HOSS Nov 20, 2005 10:24 AM

i really don't see how thats possible. I bent one, but not near as bad, it just had a good lean in it a lil over half way up

the car would hesitate from like 4k-redline and i would get a real bad tapping. never gave it WOT after I started hearing the tapping. i stopped driving it after i heard it

Armageddon Nov 20, 2005 01:29 PM

another 500 miles and it would have snapped... You can see where it was rubbing the head something awful. That spot would have been where it snapped. Like he said, it pulled right out. Nobody believed me, they thought I bent it after I pulled it out...

technical Nov 20, 2005 01:31 PM

That's what happen when you over-rev a 3" cam.
