Default Estimating Install Cost..H/C...What did you guys pay?

I was wondering what some of you guys paid for a H/C install. Also these would be fully assembled heads. And change the lifters... Plus a tune... Im tryin to do some budgeting to see if Im gonna be in the ballpark to do all of this at once. Im also from Texas so if any of you know of a shop that makes some good deals on installation/tuning, shoot me a PM. Thanks Fellas

Figure 100.00 for fluids and stuff. 400.00 for a tune. And labor is free if you do it yourself. www.ls1howro.com

SQR's prices are very reasonable

But, if you have the ability, follow Steve's advice.

I know some people pay ~1-1.5k for a H/C install, some places more, some places less. Just have to call up some shops in your area (I think Texas Motorsports is down that way) and places you are willing to drive.
