Default My Ls1 is apart, spun rod bearing...help pls.

I have 65,000 miles. I want to add new strong rotating assy and stock displacement. Can I do a light hoan and what other machine work and get slightly larger pistons...i have treid lots of search methods and find little.

yes if you cylinders are in good shape and not out of round. might even be able to use the same size pistons too. it just depends on how good of shape your motor is in you know. may not even need to be honed much. it took a 100k motor apart and cylinders looked perfect and measured out perfect also. i used stock size pistons and carried on with the program. just have to see

Thanks okay found this too finally...
swap in a 4" stroker crank and hone the cylinder .005 and you get
1.9525 * 1.9525 = 3.8123 *3.1415 = 11.9762 * 4 = 47.9048 * 8 = 383.2385

so this is how I can go to a 383 if I wish on a 2000 ls1...4" stroker crank and what pistons 0.005 over? I have AFR 205s and FM13 wnat to get the most out of them.
