Are LS7 heads to much for a 408?

Are they to big for the 4.030 bore? I'm building a 408. Thanks

Yes you need a 4.06 bore minimum. Wait for the L92 heads to come out.

Waht are the L92 heads? And when will they be out?

ls7 small bore

we are also offering a small bore ls7 using a smaller valve and chamber, but still using a stock LS7 manifold, and stock ls7 rockers.

For a 4.100 bore are your 265 41's still going to outflow the LS7 heads?

What size runner is on your small bore ls7 heads and what do they flow? Just curious.

they are really neck and neck. the ls7 is a little better is some areas and the 265 in others. REmember though, the 265 has a 2.100/2.125 valve and the LS7 has a 2.200 inlet valve. On a larger race engine, they sometimes like the larger valve.

As far as flow and port volume, I should have that answered by next week, Were still programming and machining, and being that it is computer generated, kinda gotta wait til we have a finished part.
