Default Pushrod length with new heads/cam

What length will I need?

TR230
Patriot Stage II 243's
PP Gold Dual Springs, Ti Retainers
Stock Lifters, Rockers

Hope this doesn't end up sounding like a sewing machine!

Thanks

I would think the 7.400's would work. Do you already have this all in or are you waiting to order until you know the PR length for sure?

Unmilled I would run 7.425 (quieter option)
Or mill the heads .010 with .054 gasket and 7.40
Or run .045 Cometic, unmilled with 7.40

Check PTV with bottom 2 options

7.425 harder on lifters?

And what brand? Comp? I was going to get the TR chromeoly pushrods but they only sell 7.35 and 7.40.

Why would they be harder?
You have to take into account that your cam base circle is smaller. I'm speaking from experience in using them myself

yeap Comp cam. TR has them, it is where I get mine from..

Why not measure them and make sure? Skoggin-Dickey has the Manleys in every length known to mankind, so your options aren't limited although Thunder Racing can probably get you a different lenght as well.

You've received some good advice so far, but the only way to know for sure is to measure. You can get adjustable PR's for about $20. Cheap way to find out for sure.
